Partnership to distribute Siemens refurbished laptops
Our club, in cooperation with HARRRP, is working with Siemens to collect and distribute refurbished 3-year-old laptops to other non-profit organizations or individuals who require the use of computers and cannot afford one. We are estimating that around 50 computers per quarter can be donated in Canada, and hope to extend our partnership to the US in 2012. Thank you Sue-Ann and Mark on your hard work for this community project!
Over the years we are pleased to have supported various events and charities within the community including:
- Telling Tales – A Family Festival of Stories
- Polio Plus
- Shelter Box
- Foster Parents
- Breakfast Programs
- CNIB
- Candian Hard of Hearing
- Womens / Child Welfare
- Reach for the Rainbow
- Design Hope
- Local Annual Fishing Derby of Special Needs Persons
- Crime Stoppers
- Breakfast for Learning
- Martha House
- Plan Canada
- St. John Ambulance
- Sackville Senior Centre
- Rotary Foundation
